Kuranda – Barron Gorge – Barron River – power station – Trinity Beach
Today I did drive up to Kuranda and through the village to the Barron Falls Outlook. There was a well build board-walk, but it was too nice, too long, too new and too many German tourists rushing down and up: I did not like it.
I drove to the end of the road and walked down a quiet path to a little river, where I turned around and walked up again. I tried to catch the light in the water, see .
Back in Kuranda I had in a nice café and did very successfully shop for gifts. Down the back to Smithfield and into the Barron river valley all the way up to the end, where the power station is build into the rock slopes of the narrow steep rocky valley.
I did jump in the river bed over huge rocks, I love that shit. Some images, most turned out crap, I tried.
For you could find me up the coast at Trinity Beach walking the cold sand in chilly southerly winds. Nice evening with my host, but I do not remember food or conversation, sorry.
