Driving from Carnarvon Gorge to Clermont

Tuesday, 2nd of August 2011
Driving from Carnarvon Gorge to Clermont took me almost all day with some time in the library of Emerald, Queensland, Australia to check emails and all other online data, because I had been totally disconnected for 3 days.
I tried Subway the first time and it the sandwich tasted quite while, I liked my beef sandwich.
Driving was easy, almost no , and one long stretch of a street.
Charlton is a small town, mining mostly, I tried the caravan park and it was ok.
The recommended Hotel had an empty dinning room, food was ok, but nothing to see, so I left, when they closed it down at 8:00 pm.
Back to the , some reading and an early again.

About Tadesse Konrad

Konrad Tadesse lives and works in Berlin in Germany. In Summer 2011 he could do a 3 month journey to Australia. Travelling in Australia was the fulfilment of an old dream for him. Trekking on his own was an other objective. This is one way to find out how things in live are after 25 years of family life. He flew in Melbourne and zigzagged up the east coast to Cairns.
